The Pass: Last Days of the Samurai (2022)
Kawai Tsugunosuke, a samurai of the Makino clan in Nagaoka, grapples with the shifting tides of the Edo period's final days. Yearning for autonomy from feudal obligations, he envisions a neutral stance during the Boshin Civil War. However, his sense of loyalty and duty to his clan complicates his aspirations, forcing him to make a difficult choice.
