French Exit (2021) (2021)
Frances Price, a 60-year-old former socialite, finds herself broke after her husband Franklin's death over a decade ago. With her fortune depleted, she liquidates her remaining assets and decides to escape to Paris for a fresh start, seeking anonymity in a borrowed apartment. Accompanying her is her aimless son, Malcolm, and a cat named Small Frank, whose presence raises questions about whether he carries the spirit of her late husband. As Frances navigates her new life, her eccentricities and unresolved emotions come to the forefront in this darkly comedic tale.
