Crack in the World (1965)
Dr. Steven Sorenson embarks on an ambitious project to harness geothermal energy using a thermonuclear explosion deep underground. However, his experiment goes awry, resulting in a massive crack that threatens to tear the planet apart. As the fissure expands, the race begins to halt the impending disaster before it's too late.
