Overview

Cookie, a teenage runaway fleeing her abusive stepfather, arrives in New York City with her younger brother in search of a better life. At the Port Authority bus terminal, she encounters Duke, a charismatic yet cruel pimp. With no options left, Cookie reluctantly falls into Duke's world, quickly becoming immersed in the grim realities of prostitution. As she navigates this dangerous new lifestyle, Cookie must confront both external threats and her own struggles to survive in the unforgiving streets of the city.
