Call of the Prairie (1936)
Hoppy arrives back to discover Johnny in a precarious situation. Buck Peters has been shot, with Porter framing Johnny for the crime. As Johnny flees, he encounters Linda and feels an immediate connection, only to realize her father, Shanghai, is affiliated with Porter's gang. Determined to confront Shanghai, Johnny is soon captured by the criminals, putting his life in jeopardy as Porter plots his demise. Just when hope seems lost, Hoppy is nearby, ready to intervene, and Johnny finds unexpected assistance from Shanghai himself. Tension builds as loyalty and betrayal collide.
