I Live in Fear

Overview

Kiichi Nakajima, an aging foundry proprietor, becomes obsessed with the looming threat of nuclear conflict in Japan. Driven by fear, he plans to relocate his family to Brazil for their safety. However, his loved ones believe his fears are unfounded and seek to have him declared incompetent. Dr. Harada, a counselor from the Domestic Court, steps in to mediate the situation, navigating the tension between Nakajima's desperate worries and his family's desire to maintain control over his choices. The clash of perspectives highlights the struggles of fear and familial duty.
