Hemel (2012)
Structured in chapters, the narrative initially follows Hemel's numerous sexual escapades but shifts focus to her fraught bond with her father, Gijs. A suave auctioneer, Gijs has been involved with several younger women following the death of Hemel's mother. However, everything changes when he begins a romance with the enchanting Sophie. For Hemel, this new relationship poses a challenge, awakening feelings of jealousy and insecurity as she grapples with the fear of losing her unique connection with her father.
