In the Army Now follows the misadventures of Bones Conway and Jack Kaufman, two ambitious young men who enlist in the reserves, hoping to earn quick cash for their business aspirations. However, their plans take an unexpected turn when, shortly after completing basic training, they are deployed to a war zone as members of the water purification unit.
