Overview

Vicki Wallace delights in teasing her husband, Tony, but her playful jabs lead to a surprising confrontation when he retaliates with a punch. Seeking a fresh start, Vicki's friend and lawyer, Vernon Thorpe, helps her secure a divorce, and they soon marry. However, Vicki's love for revealing outfits and her habit of inviting Tony to dinner stir jealousy in Vernon, culminating in another violent outburst. Determined to reconnect with Tony, Vicki shows up at his apartment, where his new girlfriend, Bonnie, is less than thrilled by her unexpected visit and intentions to stay.
