Dr. Sam Abelman, a dedicated Jewish physician, enjoys his twilight years caring for his Brooklyn community. His peaceful life takes a turn when his nephew Myron, an aspiring journalist, pens an article that piques the interest of producer Woodrow Thrasher. Thrasher sees potential for a television show centered on the doctor, but Sam remains skeptical.
