She Done Him Wrong (1933)
Lady Lou, a charismatic singer and nightclub proprietor in New York, is surrounded by admirers, but her loyalties are questionable. Among her many suitors is a violent criminal who has recently escaped prison, intent on reuniting with her. Unbeknownst to him, Lady Lou has been less than faithful during his absence. Just when trouble brews, Captain Cummings, a dedicated leader of the local temperance league, steps in to offer support. As tensions rise, Lady Lou must navigate her tangled relationships while confronting the chaos that looms on the horizon.
