Ed Sayer

Ed Sayer is a talented actor and director whose artistic journey began at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, following his studies in Drama and English at the University of Bristol. His early career included a pivotal role in the Education department at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, where he nurtured his passion for theatrical arts.

Sayer's stage credits showcase his range and versatility, featuring performances in productions such as *Dear Brutus* at the Southwark Playhouse, *First Light* at the Chichester Festival Theatre, and a notable engagement with Cheek by Jowl in their rendition of *The Winter’s Tale*, which toured internationally and was showcased at the Barbican and BAM.

In addition to his acting, Ed has made significant contributions as a director for the renowned Young Pleasance Theatre company, where his work has garnered acclaim. Since 2018, he has also served on the audition panel for both the BA and MA acting programs at Guildhall, helping to shape the next generation of performers.
