Morganna Love has been a trailblazer in the entertainment industry, showcasing her remarkable journey of self-discovery and artistic expression. From the age of four, she showcased her talent as a singer, performing as a soloist in a choir managed by nuns. It was during these formative years that Morganna began to explore her gender identity, realizing her true self and expressing her femininity through makeup and emulation of female celebrities, despite facing familial rejection.

Her formal music education began at the School of Music at the University of Guanajuato, and in 2001, she moved to Mexico City to continue her studies at the National Conservatory of Music. It was here that she joined an opera company and decided to embark on her transition journey, which spanned four years and was marked by significant challenges without family support. In 2012, Morganna underwent sex reassignment surgery in Thailand, facilitated by the renowned surgeon Preecha Triewtanon, after gaining visibility through the Miss International Queen beauty pageant.

Morganna's transition and story were vividly portrayed in Flavio Florencio's documentary *Made in Bangkok*, which garnered an Ariel Award nomination in 2017. That same year, she released her debut album, *Dos vidas en una*, showcasing her vocal prowess across various genres. She also made strides in television, participating in the Mexican edition of *The Voice* and lending her voice to the character Blanca Evangelista in the Latin American dub of *Pose*.

Continuing her advocacy for trans rights, Morganna was honored by Forbes as one of Mexico's 100 most powerful women in 2020 and has collaborated with the United Nations. Her activism remains a vital part of her legacy, alongside her artistic achievements, including her role in the HBO series *Maid* and her participation in the film *10 Songs for Charity*.
