Randall Kaplan
Randall Kaplan, an artist deeply influenced by the eerie and the extraordinary from a young age, grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Sensitive to the nuances of his environment, he transformed childhood fears into a wellspring of creativity that informs his diverse body of work. Kaplan's artistic endeavors span a variety of mediums, including live-action film, animation, painting, and illustration.
In 2009, he gained recognition with the release of his short horror films, which were compiled in the anthology ‘Beneath the Flesh’ and distributed by Pathfinder Pictures. His artwork has been showcased in solo exhibitions and featured in group shows across various bars and galleries in Los Angeles.
Currently, Randall Kaplan continues to thrive as a freelance illustrator, designer, animator, and video editor, all while diligently working on original art pieces and the ongoing development of ‘Boxhead’. His unique blend of the uncanny and the heartfelt remains at the core of his creative journey.
