Rika Miura
Rika Miura, born Yasuyo Hayashima, is a prominent Japanese actress celebrated for her versatile performances across television, film, and stage. She gained widespread recognition for portraying Hitomi Sakuma, the love interest of Spider-Man, in the iconic 1978-1979 series. Miura also starred as the lead in the tokusatsu series Battle Fever J (1979-1980) and played a significant role in Toki o Kakeru Shōjo (1985), solidifying her status in the entertainment industry.
Originally from Iwaizumi, Iwate, Miura moved to Saitama Prefecture during her childhood. Coming from a family with artistic inclinations, her older sister, Mayumi Miura, is also an accomplished actress. Miura graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Yoyogi High School and began her career as a child model, making her television debut in 1974 with a commercial for Kirin Lemon.
Miura's impressive television career includes multiple guest appearances on the popular jidaigeki series Mito Kōmon, a record for female actors, and roles in other jidaigeki shows such as Tōyama no Kin-san and various entries in the Hissatsu series. She has also appeared in modern dramas like G-Men '75 and G-Men '82, showcasing her range as an actress.
Apart from her television work, Miura has made notable contributions to theater and has been a familiar face on variety and travel shows. In her personal life, she is married to actor Daijirō Tsutsumi, known for his recurring role as shōgun Tokugawa Tsunayoshi in Mito Kōmon.
